OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. A $2000 bonus will be paid to the referring employee in two parts: $500 upon hire, and $1500 when the referred candidate has successfully completed 12 months of employment.
  2. Participating employees whose referral has been hired will be entered in our Grand Prize Drawing: two (2) lucky winners will choose their dream vacation, which includes a $3000 travel credit limit. Each hired referral earns the referring employee another entry in the drawing. The drawing takes place in May.
  3. All candidates must receive a referral from a current UCLA employee. Those employed within the past year do not qualify for this program.
  4. Both the referring employee and the hired referral must be current UCLA employees at the time of payout in order to collect the bonus.
  5. Bonuses will be taxed at the applicable rate.
  6. Applications or resumes must be submitted with the applicant’s consent. Referral information must be presented to Human Resources/Nurse Recruitment prior to date of hire. The name of the referring employee must be listed on the candidate’s application or referral form. Please submit completed referral forms and resumes to the appropriate UCLA Healthcare Employee Human Resources or Nurse Recruitment representative.
  7. Winners of trips must book within 12 months of the drawing and must use either vacation time or non-paid time off for the trip, subject to their supervisor’s approval. No substitution of cash in lieu of trips will be allowed.
  8. Human Resources Nurse Recruitment will contact winners to make travel arrangements per company travel policies and use one of UCLA’s travel agents.
  9. All employees of UCLA are eligible for participation with the exception of the Human Resources Recruitment and Nurse Recruitment Departments, those directly responsible for the referred applicant’s hiring decision, and employees in MSP or SMG.
